Have a Blessed Labor Day!

BCA's Infants - 8th grade

will be closed this Mon, Sept. 7

in observance of Labor Day.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God –

not by works, so that no one can boast.

For we are God’s handiwork,

created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in

advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:8 - 10

Parking Reminder

Parents, as you are dropping off and/or picking up your student, we ask that you you please stay in your vehicle during pick up and drop off times and continue moving through the car line.

We have noticed that parents are getting out of their car during this time to speak with their child's teacher. In an effort to keep the car line moving efficiently around 8 a.m. and 3:20, we need family members to remain in the car.

If you need to speak to a teacher, please message them on Class Dojo or schedule a meeting for another time.

Thank you for helping our daily entry and exits from the front parking lot run smoothly.

Chapel

Chapel service on Wed., Sept. 9 will be led by Pastor Cox of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.

Families are always welcome to attend chapel with their student!

Our first quarter chapel offerings will go to the Lutheran Heritage Foundation.

For the Sept. 23 chapel, a representative from this organization will offer a presentation to the students so that they can learn more on how their chapel offerings will benefit.

Congratulations to this Week's "Whopping Acts of ROAR" Recipient!

"Isabella Graham (first grade) consistently demonstrates what it means to be a true leader in our classroom community. By faithfully following classroom rules and teacher directions the first time asked, she exemplifies deep respect and accountability. Her optimism shines bright every day. She is always eager to lend a helping hand to classmates and proactively takes initiative whenever something needs to be done. A truly responsible learner, she consistently gives her absolute best effort in every task, proving herself to be an outstanding classroom citizen and a wonderfully kind friend. She is always ROARING!" - Ms. Tori, first grade teacher.

We wish a very Happy Birthday to the following students!

9/4 - Tatum Erwin (5th grade)

9/5 - Rowen Alvarado (PK1)

9/6 - Caroline and Ellie Perdue (PK1)

9/7 - Xander Bond (PK2)

9/8 - Ella Strain (4th)

Next Ice Cream Truck Visit

Sept. 24

Our first Ice Cream Truck visit last month was a hit! Throughout the school year, on the same day that our teachers are treated to their "Gift of Time", we will also host an Ice Cream Truck visit to allow students to purchase special ice cream treats during their lunch period.

PTL volunteers will once again monitor the students in the cafeteria to allow teachers to enjoy the catered lunch that the volunteers also provide. During lunch, students will be able to visit the truck in the front parking lot to purchase their ice cream.

We appreciate Sweet Treats for bringing their delicious ice cream our way!

For details on pricing and cash payment, please see the ORDER FORM.
