Whopping Acts of ROAR Recipient

Congratulations to Tamiyah, sixth grade, who was nominated for her Whopping Acts of ROAR by Dr. Harr, who had this to say about her.

"Tamiyah was in my fifth grade homeroom last year, and it was always a joy to see her each morning. Even now, she often stops by my classroom or says hello in the hallway just to check in and see how I’m doing. She is quick to offer a smile, a kind word, or a hug, and she has a way of making others feel noticed and cared for.

Tamiyah lives out our ROAR values in a way that reflects God’s love just by being herself.

She shows RESPECT by treating both her classmates and teachers with kindness and thoughtfulness.

She is OPTIMISTIC, consistently coming to school with a positive attitude and a joyful spirit.

She shows ACCOUNTABILITY by following through on her words and continuing to care for those whom she has shown concern.

She demonstrates RESPONSIBILITY by working hard and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Seeing Tamiyah first thing in the morning has a meaningful impact on my day. She sets a Christ-centered example of kindness, diligence, and love for others, encouraging those around her to do their best and to treat one another with the love God calls us to show."
