Welcome to the 2016-17 Bowling Season!

Hello All in our Bowling Family,
August . What does that mean for a bowling center? That typically means leagues are all in place, everyone is notified of start dates and leagues are full. Or for some, that might mean, oh boy! We have to start calling team captains and new bowlers.

As a fellow proprietor, I can honestly say that I dread August. Calling, texting, persuading bowlers to become a league bowler for 32 weeks is not easy. It is a lot of work. But if we do the hard legwork in August, it makes the rest of the season much more enjoyable.

We Need YOU - Seeking Volunteers to Serve BCAW
The BCAW Board of Directors fulfills an important role in the governance of our association. Comprised of 13 regular members of BCAW, our officers and directors serve as representatives of fellow proprietors. The board meets twice per year and works to assure BCAW is utilizing our precious resources in a reasonable manner towards achieving our mission to enhance our members' profitability.

The following positions will be elected for a two year term at the BCAW Annual Meeting on December 5, 2016: President, Vice President and four directors. Currently serving in these positions are Steve Cieslewicz (President), Erik Gialdella (Vice President), Matt Beyer (Director), Hank Posnanski, Jr. (Director) and Cary Serwe (Director), with one director position vacant. All current position holders are eligible to run for reelection.
