Canada’s House of Commons’ Standing Committee on International Trade invited the British Canadian Chamber of Trade and Commerce to provide testimony as a witness for its study of Bill C-13, An Act to implement the Protocol on the Accession of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.

 

Mr. Martin Buckle, BCCTC Vice President & Treasurer attended the meeting on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

 

This study was created following the order of reference of Thursday, December 11, 2025:  

Bill C-13, An Act to implement the Protocol on the Accession of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, be deemed read a second time on division and referred to the Standing Committee on International Trade.

Join the Honourable Erin O’Toole and Robert Baines, President of the NATO Association of Canada (NAOC) and past president of the St. George's Society of Toronto, for a frank discussion on the relevance of Churchill’s Sinews of Peace 1946 speech in today’s world, Canada’s role present & past within the alliance, and Winston Churchill’s significant contribution in helping to establish NATO’s foundation through the signing of the Atlantic Charter in August 1941.

Quiz & Chips Evening Returns – March 12, 2026


After last year’s great success, The Honourable Company of Freemen of the City of London of North America’s Quiz & Chips evening is back!
