Governing Board Updates
The Governing Board met with the Solar Team in December. After reviewing the Team's proposal for installing solar panels on the Christian Education Building, the Board gave the approval to proceed with this plan. More details about this to follow at the Congregational meeting.
At our January meeting, the Board received the budget proposal from Tom Colby, Finance Coordinator. The congregation will have an opportunity to review the budget at an explanatory meeting on January 19th and the Congregational Budget Meeting on January 26, 2025.
Reverend Dale Azevedo informed the Board of his upcoming retirement. We received this news with mixed emotions. Dale's ministry has been a blessing to us. At the same time, we are happy that he and Elizabeth will be starting a new life where they will share their many gifts. The Deacons and the Governing Board are working together to determine the best way forward. More details to come in the coming weeks.

Thank You for your Donations!
Thank you to all who donated to the Mitten Tree and Giving Tree this holiday season! From your generous donations, we collectively are gifting 5 large bags of warm wear that Kim Fernandez will be distributing to clients at Federal Hill House. We're still tallying the total raised for the Giving Tree that benefits the Women's Resource Center (as donations have been trickling in post-holiday), but we want to extend our gratitude to everyone who has contributed to help support the families and individuals in need!

Your Donations Make a Difference!
It's easy to make a donation online. Simply go to the donation page on our website at www.bccucc.org/donation/ and click on 'Donate Now' under the TIthe.ly option. Be sure to click on the drop-down box in Tithe.ly to choose where you'd like your donation to go - options include Deacons Fund, Memorial Gift, Pledge, Gift etc. Thank you for your financial support of BCCUCC!
