We are very excited to welcome our BCE students back on Tuesday, September 7th! We had a great turnout for Connect 2021 and enjoyed seeing so many students excited about returning to school. Much of this newsletter are repeats from previous messages, but we wanted to ensure that parents had an easy spot to find the necessary information for the first day of school.
Below is a link for the BCE student drop off and pick up, please review this if your child is being dropped off or picked up during the first week of school. This is a very busy location and important that we all have patience and keep safety of everyone at the forefront of our minds. If your child is riding the bus, this will be listed on Parent Portal.
Please also note the PTO information on the yellow portion on the left of all newsletters. We have a very active PTO that would love for parents to sign up and ensure that your children's teacher for this year is updated.
I am so proud to have the opportunity to serve your children and this community! Please always reach out if there is anything I can do to support. We cannot wait for Tuesday!
You will continue to receive Bluff Creek Elementary school information and updates throughout the school year. In addition, you will receive OLA specific information from your student’s OLA classroom teacher and the OLA team.
An OLA specific email will be sent to you soon with specific information about OLA Connect and Assess and information about your student’s classroom teacher and schedule.

As we begin the 2021-22 academic year, however, we must prioritize the health of students and staff, and minimize the potential for contract tracing. The following protocols will be used until further notice: Visitor Check-in.

All students will continue to wear student id lanyards. New IDs will be printed for all kindergarten and new students. Students will use their id cards throughout the school day to board school bus, access student meal accounts, and to check out library books.Read More Here

Transportation Notices and Changes- If you plan to make a last minute transportation change during the school day- please contact the office at 952-556-6600. DO NOT call or e-mail the classroom teacher. Teachers are working with students and are unable to check their e-mail.
We take seriously our responsibility to do everything we can to make sure our students and staff are in a safe and healthy environment. The ECCS safe learning plan regarding face coverings has recently been updated. Starting on the first day of school, September 7th, masking will be required indoors for students age 2-12 years old. The mask requirement will be in place through October 1, at which point families will be updated on whether an extension is necessary.
District leaders continue to remain in close contact with state and local health officials to monitor data and adjust learning models as needed. Please bookmark Safe Learning Plan for the latest information.

Club Care registration for the 2021-2022 School Year is now open!
Club Care is a school age care program offered before and after school through Community Education. Club Care curriculum is developed based on the needs and interests of students and with the philosophy that learning is a year-round process. During the school year, activities and events are planned to include academic enrichment, social skill development, and recreation.
As a courtesy to families, the district provides an optional damage insurance to defray the cost of replacement or repair of district-issued Chromebooks.
