Welcome to the summer 2021 edition of our newsletter! We hope you and your loved ones are well.
I’m sure you share our pleasure that businesses are starting to re-open. We welcome back everyone employed at a business that suffered through the pandemic! We wish you a busy summer ahead.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this year’s #HospitalityHustle presented by Odlum Brown Limited. We received fantastic support from our sponsors and the community overall, and the event was a great success.
Call to Action:
Please Help Us Help Hospitality
The BCHF’s central mission is to help hospitality workers facing financial crisis due to an extraordinary health condition experienced by themselves or a family member. We want to make sure that people who need our help know we exist.
To this end, we would be grateful if everyone reading this newsletter would mention the BCHF, and what we do, to 5 people in their circle. Friends, family, colleagues, professionals: it’s especially helpful if individuals who work with other people are familiar with us and our mission. This includes:
  • Social Workers
  • HR Directors
  • Physiotherapists & Registered Massage Therapists
  • Personal Injury Lawyers
  • Similar Charities
If you have time, please send to lucy@bchospitalityfoundation.com the names and emails of people who work with individuals recovering from serious illness or accident that may need our help, and we’ll be happy to introduce ourselves.

The BCHF is a charity that supports hospitality workers facing financial crisis due to a health condition. These are the people who work in your favourite restaurants, wineries, breweries, bars, and hotels. Often with limited access to benefits or financial aid, our beneficiaries have nowhere else to turn if a health condition arises. Your support has a meaningful impact by getting them back on their feet again.
