Call to Action: Urge Governor Wolf to Grant Medical Liability Immunity for Care Associated with COVID-19
Physicians and other health care providers are on the frontlines of fighting COVID-19, and in doing so, risking their lives and the lives of their family members in the process. Unfortunately, looming overhead is the constant fear of civil and criminal liability while lifesaving care is being delivered.
 
Take Action Now:
1.   Contact Gov. Tom Wolf and urge him to protect all health care workers by signing an executive order granting medical liability immunity for care associated with COVID-19 during the emergency declaration here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2.   Contact your State Representative and State Senator and ask them to help to provide needed legal protections for the brave individuals who are providing COVID-19 related care.

Annual Brunch Postponed
After careful consideration, The Bucks County Medical Society has made the necessary and responsible decision to  postpone The Annual Membership Brunch  scheduled for April 26 in Lahaska, PA. This was based on the recommendations from the  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  (CDC) ,  Pennsylvania Department of Health , and the  World Health Organization  (WHO) . We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

BCMS staff are diligently working on rescheduling the brunch for a date later this year. We will provide you with updates as this process continues. Thank you again for your understanding.
