Partnering with our Community
As a friend and supporter of the Bucks County Opportunity Council, you know our mission: To reduce poverty, and partner with our community to promote economic-self-sufficiency.

Volunteers are one of our greatest assets - our community partners who ensure we can continue to assist people in poverty achieve their goals. You can be part of the solution by becoming a BCOC volunteer. In the next few weeks, as we prepare for our fall events, celebrate graduates, move into a new building, pick up and deliver food across the county and more, we would love to have your help. Register for any opening that works for your schedule. We'll contact you with additional details and answer any questions you may have.
We hope to see you soon!

Event Planning and Preparation
BCOC has several big events coming up this fall- Our Economic Self Sufficiency Graduation on October 3rd; A poverty simulation on October 25th, and our Annual Breakfast on November 9th! Plus senior fairs and other community events. Whether it is staffing an event and handing out flyers, designing and creating materials for us, or putting together table displays, we have lots of work to be done! Opportunities to help out will be updated on this sign up. We'd love for you to join us!

Urgent Need: Staff BCOC table at the Senior Fair this Friday, 9/28. 2 shifts available: 9-11:30, and 11:30 - 2. Click below for details.
Food Program Delivery
Picking up food donations each weekday is one way our volunteers are #Feedingourcommunity !  Ride along one morning with a volunteer in our food van to see if the job is right for you. You start from our office at 100 Doyle Street in
Doylestown. You can join our roster of volunteer drivers, and as we have a need for a driver, we contact the group with a sign up.
If none of the dates currently available work for you, please contact  Eileen Albillar  or  Heather Foor  to schedule a date that works for you.

The Bucks County Opportunity Council is the Charity Partner of the  Great Pumpkin Run: Philadelphia  for 2018! As the charity partner, we must bring a cadre of volunteers to this fun event at Froehlichs Farm & Garden, 3143 York Rd, Furlong, PA.
