New parent verification codes are not required and will not be generated for parents who have previously accessed BCPS One. Parents with existing BCPS One accounts should continue to use the same account for the 2016-2017 school year. Parent accounts remain valid as student(s) transition from one BCPS school to another.
Parents with newly enrolled students and parents who have not previously accessed BCPS One will require a parent verification code for each student in order to access BCPS One. As noted in the July 29, August 5, and August 12, 2016, Weekly Bulletin publications, as of Monday, August 8, 2016 new parent verification codes for the 2016-2017 school year were made available in the Student AD Password Reset System. School staff should print and distribute the parent verification codes before Wednesday, August 31, 2016.
School administrators, technology liaisons, STAT teachers, library media specialists, and front office staff should refer to the
July 29, 2016, Weekly Bulletin Item Number 42 to view a video about how to print parent verification codes. All newly generated codes will expire on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, if they are not used.
