LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS):
GRADEBOOK SETTINGS

Gradebooks in the BCPS One LMS must be set to a BCPS Grading Scale.

If a class is in grades K-2, "BCPS K-2" must be set as the grading scale. If a class is in grades 3-12, "BCPS 3-12" must be set as the grading scale. For all classes at the four field test schools, "BCPS 4 Point Scale" must be set as the grading scale.

No alternate grading scales should be set by school based staff. Teachers and administrators should review LMS gradebook settings for accuracy. Teachers that need to update their grade scale settings will not lose any assignments or grades. After updating the grade scale settings, teachers should review grades and make adjustments accordingly.

BCPS ONE SUPPORT MODEL:
3 STEPS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Need support? Seek assistance from your school's SIS Administrator or STAT Teacher.  How can they help?
  • SIS Administrators provide support to school staff for issues related to accessing various BCPS One sub-systems such as the Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS).  Are you unable to login to the SIS or LMS?  Unable to view your classes or missing students from a class list?  Notify your SIS Administrator so they can investigate.
  • STAT Teachers provide support to instructional staff for issues related to the Learning Management System functionality.  Are you unsure of how to assign a lesson tile to students?  Need assistance in creating student groups within a class? Looking for guidance on how to plan for instruction using course maps? Notify your STAT Teacher so they can share "how to" details with you.
