TEAM BCPS SHOUTOUT
Nicole Calhoun, Staff Development Teacher, Rossville Elementary School
Submitted by Kellie Price, Staff Development Teacher, Sandalwood Elementary School
"Nicole Calhoun is the Staff Development Teacher (SDT) at Rossville Elementary School and one of the hardest-working and most dedicated educators that I know. As a current SDT myself, I am able to contact her with any questions I have and she always has the answer or is willing to help if she doesn’t know. Although I do not work in the same building as Nicole, I have in the past, and know enough of her current colleagues to know that she always goes above and beyond for her staff and the students. She does more than most people know, behind the scenes, and may not always get recognized for it. She has a positive mindset, knows the curriculum like the back of her hand, is tech-savvy and extremely creative, and is willing to do anything to help anyone at any time. I am grateful to have worked with her, and she inspires everyone she connects with."
