BRIARWOOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Mrs. Tasha Holliday, Head of Lower School
As you turn your calendar to May and see the many events that fill the month, you might agree with the recent statement that “May is the new December!” Yes, it is indeed a busy month for all of us as we wrap up the school year. I remember a conversation that I had years ago with Mrs. Kasey Mixon, our Upper School Radica Show Choir Director, about the busyness of May. As we talked, she said to me, “I don’t want all of these events and activities to seem like an obligation. I want to see them as a blessing.” What a great way to think about May! We have so much to be thankful for here at BCS, and my prayer is that we will work our way through each event, activity, and celebration in May with a heart of thankfulness for all the Lord has done for us!

Thank you all for your kindness, prayers, and support shown to all of us during this school year. We are grateful for you! Have a wonderful summer!

Tasha Holliday

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”
Psalm 126:3

We are pleased to announce that our students have raised over $8,000 for local missions through this year's Basketball Shoot-a-thon. Thank you to all who helped make this possible.

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:3-6
