BHS sophomore, Hadley Blankenship, created an art piece about the Women's Suffrage Movement and was chosen to represent all students from the state of Georgia. Last week's event in Washington DC opened the exhibit to celebrate the 100th Anniversary. She enjoyed a VIP tour by Secret Service personnel, received special gifts, a signed certificate, and the newest proclamation President Trump signed to celebrate the 100th year of the Women’s Suffrage Movement. Hadley had the opportunity to speak with First Lady Melania Trump.
We are so proud of Hadley!
