Greetings!
I write to you this week from London, where BCSE has been participating in discussions with America Is All In during London Climate Action Week. These events bring together governors, mayors, and private sector leaders who are sharing what we all know to be true: that U.S. states, cities, and businesses are actively deploying the clean energy solutions needed to support sustainable, affordable, reliable economy for us all.
Back home, BCSE has been recognizing state leadership through the release of our State of U.S. Energy factsheets – and through meetings with state-level regulators and decisionmakers. Through our new American Energy Abundance Alliance initiative, BCSE has convened policymakers and energy business leaders across the country to find common ground on solutions to advance America’s energy expansion.

Recent highlights include:
Boston, MA: In May, BCSE, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), and state leaders discussed new data on the power of deploying energy efficiency and demand-side solutions across the state. In today’s high-tech appliance world, there are opens new options for a more dynamic, efficient suite of demand-side efficiency options – and their lower price tag can lead to significant customer savings and benefits to the overall electric grid.
Columbus, OH: In June, BCSE brought together state regulatory commissioners and energy business leaders for a roundtable discussion alongside the Mid-Atlantic Conference of Regulatory Utilities Commissioners’ Annual Education Conference. Together, they discussed how policies and technologies can be implemented together to meet growing energy demand affordably, reliably, and quickly, while maintaining system performance and supporting consumers.
We look forward to continuing this roundtable series later this year – and we want you to be in the room with us. To express interest in partnering with the American Energy Abundance Alliance or to explore event sponsorships, please contact our team.
