Thank you for being a part of our community—the stronger our connections, the more we can build a safer world!
BCSP Endorsing Organizations
BCSP's endorsing organizations help ensure that the governance of BCSP includes broad representation from across the safety profession by recommending Board members. These organizations do not provide funding or support to BCSP or its operations. They do provide their members with a variety of services important to safety professionals.

Banner displays are a great way to promote BCSP credentials and earn recertification credit. A display is available to any certificant for use at chapter meetings, regional or local conferences, etc. BCSP ships to and from any U.S. venue and provides literature at no cost.

If you would like to borrow a display, fill out a Display and Literature Request Form.
Amentum/UCOR Attributes Safety Excellence to BCSP Sponsorship Program
The BCSP Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) and Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) Sponsorship Program was created as a way for companies to promote and maintain professional certification throughout all levels of their organization—as BCSP believes every organizational member has safety responsibility.

Since its inception, the Sponsorship Program has been a resounding success. There are currently 200 companies sponsoring nearly 6,800 employees in their pursuit and maintenance of the STS and/or STSC certifications!

In 2020, the top performer of the Sponsorship Program was Amentum, with 287 applications submitted and 97 new STS and STSC certificants! We spoke with Michelle Keever, CSP, SMS, STSC, CIT a Senior Safety and Health Program Specialist at UCOR, an Amentum-led partnership with Jacobs, about the importance of professional safety certification and UCOR’s dedication to safety.

Formed in 2011, UCOR is the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management's leading cleanup partner, specializing in the safe decommissioning and demolition of former nuclear facilities. UCOR is cleaning up the DOE Oak Ridge Reservation in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where a workforce of more than 1,900 has earned a reputation for safe performance, innovative problem solving, and an unwavering focus on excellence.

By committing to lifelong learning, we cultivate safer job sites for everyone involved; this includes our employees, the employees of our project partners, and others who may be impacted by our projects. Changes to the GSP and TSP Application Process
In an effort to simplify the application and renewal processes for the Graduate Safety Practitioner® (GSP®) and the Transitional Safety Practitioner (TSP), the BCSP Board has approved the removal of the prorated annual renewal fee that is assessed when GSPs and TSPs receive their designation.

This change took effect on January 1, 2021.

With this change, we hope to simplify the process of attaining the designation by eliminating the prorated renewal fee due upon issue of the GSP/TSP and instead implementing a $25 application fee. This will save recipients of the GSP/TSP up to $100!

Information about the application process is available on the website at BCSP.ORG.
The BCSP Career Center connects job seekers with prospective employers in the safety, health, and environmental industry. Results are a click away!

Posting open positions for companies looking to hire individuals who hold BCSP credentials is also free. This site is your direct route to qualified individuals!
