International Night will be a celebration of the diverse cultures represented within BCSS and the surrounding communities. In celebrating these various cultures, we continue to develop a genuine appreciation for the unique characteristics of others and for the diversity and commonalities that exist among all of us. Attendees can taste traditional foods, play games, make crafts, and enjoy interactive cultural dances and musical performances. Feel free to wear attire that represents your family's heritage.

Instructional Updates

Buford City Schools teachers have been reviewing and preparing for full implementation of Georgia's K-12 Mathematics Standards beginning Fall, 2023. More information for specific grade levels affected will be communicated by the schools through the registration process and updated on the district and school websites in the coming months.

Adopted & Approved Programs

Teachers may use any of the Adopted and Approved programs throughout the school year. Students will have access to these programs outside of the classroom. Please monitor your student’s access to all technology resources understanding that direct instruction is not the same as student independent exploration. Not every part of a program is used by BCSS, but additional pieces are still available to students. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the classroom teacher.
