BCTV Update
What we're doing! • How to Submit Videos • New Local Shows
E. D. Update from Cor Trowbridge:

While staff are working from home to maintain social distancing, the good news is that BCTV is operational!

  • We are on the air, distributing content and information on all of our platforms:
  • Comcast channels 1075 & 1085
  • Southern VT Cable channels 8 & 10
  • Website: brattleborotv.org
  • YouTube channel
  • Facebook & Instagram
  • On Roku and Apple TV, find BCTV's programs using the YouTube app and searching @brattleborotv.

  • The office and studio remain closed, but BCTV producers are still producing! We have streamlined the video submission process and suspended our membership requirement. Videos will be aired for two weeks, or if time-sensitive, as long as relevant. Two ways to submit videos:
  1. If you have a link: Email your YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook video link to: [email protected]. Include your title and any description in your email.
  2. If you have a file: Upload a video file via MediaFire through the interface on our website: https://www.brattleborotv.org/submit-video
  3. Below is a video tutorial demonstrating both ways:
  4. Note: the new deadline for submitting videos to air the following Monday is Wednesday at 6 PM. Send scheduling questions to: [email protected]
  • Municipal and School Board/District meetings: Since March 16, we have continued to provide meeting coverage for all of the towns and school districts we serve thanks to BCTV's intrepid field producers. To maintain the health of our staff and community, effective Thursday 3/26/20, we will no longer film in person meetings and will assist boards in airing and streaming meetings held via videoconference. Please send meeting recordings to: [email protected].

  • Bulletin board: If you have information to share with the public, email it to: [email protected]

  • Video camp: registration is on hold until we know the extent of the COVID-19 crisis.

Despite the temporary restrictions imposed by the virus, there is a lot we can do online. Please let us know how else BCTV can help connect you with your neighbors and share views and information. One local resource being updated daily is the Town of Brattleboro website.

Stay in touch - at a distance!
