| | A New Culinary Journey Begins in Ashland | | |
Yaku Superior
417 Main St.
Ashland, WI
(415) 216-5029
Mondays, Noon - 6:00 p.m.
Some dreams begin far away — in a kitchen in Lima, in the colorful chaos of Peruvian markets, in the discipline of European kitchens, and in the miles traveled across ten countries, and some dreams, unexpectedly, find their home in the quiet beauty of the Northwoods — between the shores of Lake Superior and the warmth of Wisconsin communities.
Yaku Superior will be serving our empanadas at Copper Pasty in Ashland from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is more than a new location. It’s another bridge between where I come from and where I am going.
Thank you to Copper Pasty for opening your doors, supporting my craft, and giving these Andean–Wisconsin flavors a home in Ashland.
Every empanada I make carries pieces of my journey — the Andes, the teachers who shaped me, the kitchens that challenged me, the communities that welcomed me, and the local ingredients that inspire me. Now, I get to share that story with Ashland.
One ribeye, apple pork, chicken, cheese, vegetarian, or beef empanada at a time.
And yes — with our beloved apple flan, too.
Thank you for supporting this dream — a dream made of flavors, journeys, and gratitude.
I can’t wait to see you there!
