Apple Festival Music Match Fund

Grand Stand Stage

The Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau is pleased to partner with Kim and Quito Rymer on the Bayfield Apple Festival Music Match Fund. The fund, established in 2021 alongside former Bayfield Mayor Gordon Ringberg, allows our community, businesses, residents and friends to make a donation to exclusively support two music venues at Apple Festival. The Rymers have offered a grant match of $10,000.00 per year for five (5) years.

The goal is to continue positive changes to Apple Festival including a variety of musical opportunities for all and provide an experience that encourages diversity in musical entertainment. Since the establishment of the fund, the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau has been able to provide music at the Grandstand Stage and at Memorial Park all three days of the festival. Both venues feature local and regional artists.

We are asking our friends and neighbors to commit to an annual donation. If you can’t commit to every year we understand, but hope you will donate what you can. Your contribution will make a difference and we thank you!

Send earmarked donations to the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau in care of Bayfield Apple Festival Music Match Fund.

You can find the form online or at the link below. You can download and fill out the form electronically and email it to kati@Bayfield.org.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at (715) 779-3335.

Monday, January 6 - Friday, March 28

CORE Community Resources is working with the City of Bayfield to provide free opportunities for year-round residents to exercise and socialize safely this winter by walking indoors at the Lakeside Pavilion.

CORE’s goal is to provide walking sessions twice a week as a complement to existing wellness programming offered by the Rec Center and others. The program will run for 12 weeks from January 6 – March 28.

CORE would like to partner with local businesses, organizations and individuals to line up a sponsor for each of the 12 weeks to cover the cost: $350 per week (covering rental of the Pavilion, building maintenance and snow removal when necessary.).

This is a great opportunity to show year-round support for our community. Please contact Bill Bland (608) 416-9931) today to reserve your week. Physical activity in the company of others is a double dose of strong medicine!
