Beachcombing at the Brewery
Join us at Cape Cod Beer on Monday, June 20th at 6:30pm to hear from local author, teacher and naturalist Gil Newton about the great marine diversity found in our local waters. Gil will introduce participants to the variety of marine plants and animals found along the Cape's shoreline and the diverse habitats in which they are found. The presentation will cover marine mollusks, crabs, echinoderms, sponges, horseshoe crabs, seaweeds, and other common coastal species.
Barnstable Clean Water Coalition (BCWC) works to restore and preserve clean water in Barnstable. With science as our foundation, BCWC utilizes four core components to accomplish our mission:
