Jeff Flick was named
Director of the Year for Leadership in Non-Profit Governance by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Presented May 2 at a gala at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh attended by more than 400 people, the award
honored Jeff for his role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Watson Institute.
During his four-year tenure as chairman, Jeff has led the groundbreaking and construction of a $21 million fourth school building, moving the organization past the milestone of directly impacting the lives of more than 500 special needs children annually, and the celebration of the Institute’s 100th Anniversary…all while maintaining an endowment of more than $100 million.
The Watson Institute is an educational organization in Western Pennsylvania made up of special education schools, programs and resources for children with special needs and their families. It helps children with special needs achieve their fullest potential in all aspects of their lives. The
