A Message from Principal Tronsen

Dear Students and Families,

What is "WIN" Time?

WIN (What I Need) time is our intervention period which we do on Wednesday and Thursday each week.

The purpose is to allow for teachers and or students to make requests or get pulled in for a variety of purposes. Some may be for homework help, test corrections, test retakes, makeup assessments, or general help. For students who are in a good spot, there are other opportunities for them to participate in some clubs, extra study time, STEM activities in our Library, etc. We encourage students to take advantage of this time to allow them to get in a good spot academically. Students make selections for activities during their Homerooms on Wednesday and Thursday. If they do not make a selection and are not pulled, they will default to their homeroom teacher for extra study time. Juniors and Seniors who have earned release privileges are allowed to leave campus during this time unless they are pulled by a teacher. They also have the option to sign-up for help as well. The goal of this time again is to provide structured time for students to get the extra help they need.

All My Best!
