BREWSTER DAY CAMP          Newsletter    August 11th, 2019        Vol. 39 Issue 13

Hello Brewster Day Camp Family!

Week 7 was another hot week at BDC! We enjoyed beautiful sailing weather down at BASE and explored our JOVIAL side at Water Wizz and on campus during Gold Rush! We sent campers to Cape Cod Sea Camps where we took home the individual gold medal in our annual Inter-Camp Archery Tournament! Mariner's Hill got off-campus for an entire afternoon and explored Johnny Kelly Park in Dennis! Friday was full of excitement as the smell of popcorn and cotton candy permeated through Camp while Trusty the Clown handed out necklaces and photo-bombed the photo booth.

This week promises to be the best yet, as we end our summer in JUBILATION! Week 8 at BDC is always bitter-sweet. As the sun sets a little earlier and the days are just a bit cooler, we begin to reflect on all of the fun we have had so far this summer. It is important to remember that we have one whole week left of BDC's 38th season - plenty of time to make new friends, enjoy our favorite activities, and learn something new! This week, our special event falls on  Thursday, as we JUBILATE by taking the time to enjoy all of the wonderful opportunities BDC has to offer during Wampanoag Day. We look forward to assembling the entire Brewster Day Camp Family on Friday evening for our final Family Swim, picnic, and closing council fire.

Remember to bring all of the Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace that you can muster to our 38th Season JUBILEE!

This week, pack your bathing suits, lunch boxes, and plenty of CHGs&P!
