Missed Friday's Message to our Kabbalat Torah Students?
Rewatch (or catch up on) Rabbi London's words of Torah, from this past Friday, June 4.
Challah Midrash Corner
Debbie Render amazes us yet again with the challah midrash for Parshat Shlach L’cha where the spies Moses sends to scout the land of Canaan cut down a single cluster of grapes in wadi Eshcol, so large it had to be carried by two of them.
Monday Movie with Mark is on summer hiatus. We truly appreciate the hard work, dedication, and creativity that Mark Caro has brought to these interactive and popular events. See recordings of his past movie reviews and discussions.

All week from 9:00 am- 2:00 pm
The Beth Emet Tzedakah Committee is pleased to announce that we have scheduled a Tzedakah Box drop-off/exchange for the week of June 7 (Monday-Friday) from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. You can hand your tzedakah box to Shlomit Hoch through the window for a contactless exchange and take a new box from the table in the vestibule. Alternatively, you can contribute directly to the Tzedakah Fund by credit card or through your Beth Emet account. Just visit the Beth Emet Tzedakah page and click on "Donate directly to the Tzedakah Fund here."

As always, the contributions received are used exclusively to fund our grant program for the benefit of local and Israeli not-for-profits whose missions align with Beth Emet's social justice core values of righteousness/justice, love of one's neighbors and for the stranger, compassion, kindness, and hospitality. Interesting Resources
BE Connected is an opportunity for groups with similar interests to come together as well as opportunities for conversation around various topics. What better way to engage with the Beth Emet community, try something new, and connect when we have a bit more time on our hands? Given our new reality, this initiative will start virtually, but we hope that this will continue once life returns to normal.

Each week you will receive a dedicated email with a listing of opportunities for the next two weeks. If you do not have access to a web camera for a video call, we will include phone numbers as well. And if you have an idea as we expand the reach of BE Connected, contact Marti Netler.

We look forward to seeing you very soon.
