Join other business leaders for a meet and greet and treat. Owner, Marie Treptau, will show us around her newly remodeled salon offering all sorts of amenities! Did you know they have a salt room?

Come share what's new in your business over a cup of coffee!

POWER HAPPY HOUR A SUCCESS!

Everyone attending enjoyed Scott Welle's message, small town personality, and some quick tips regarding how to not only set but attain your goals. Did you know only 3% of us set goals and of that 3%, 90% fail. He talked about how you're going to show up everyday - that you have to live the execution of your goals daily...have to begin with the end in mind. The presentation was conversational and left us hungry for a little more! Many purchased his books. Thank you to Bison Creek Event Center for hosting - the appetizers were phenomenal!

CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE FORUM

Come hear what the representatives running for City Council have to say to assist you in making an educated vote. Mayor Teri Lachermeier is not rerunning, and current council member Steve Downer filed to be her replacement. He is unopposed and will have a short message, but those running for 3 council openings will all be in attendance and asked a series of questions solicited by the community. There are currently 8 council candidates: 4-year term (2 seats): Sheila Mobley Crawford, George Fantauzza, Linda Kittock, Jeremy Lehn and Benjy Schirm. 2-year term (1 seat): Owen Clarke, Brady Rathbun and Erin Walsh.

Owner, Kelsie Schoenecker, has had her salon in the downtown area for 2 years already! The work her family did to the old Sterling Drug building is quite amazing! There are so many services offered at the salon:

  • Haircuts, colors, treatments, perms, styling, extensions
  • Medical aesthetics
  • Lash and brow treatments...sets, fills, tints
  • Make up and nails
  • Body wax...brow, lip, body (male/female)
  • Massage therapy...60/90 minute/2-hour massages, hot stone therapy, myofascial decompression, champagne hand/foot therapy
  • Tanning - bed and spray tan

Kelsie has a hybrid salon - where she has 13 employees with 8 styling stations and also has 17 rental suites available. Kelsie offers up a one stop shop - with all the services under one roof.

Thanks for the great tour, Kelsie and thanks for being such a great community minded person! We appreciate you!

SOUTHPOINT HIRES BRANCH PRESIDENT

SouthPoint Financial Credit Union names local, Bob Lefebvre, as Branch President. Bob is a thirty plus year resident of Buffalo and over the years has been involved in various areas within the community. He has served here at the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, held multiple roles at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was a past Grand Knight with the Buffalo Knights of Columbus.

Bob said, “I am very grateful to the Buffalo Community. Everyone has been very supportive of me and my family over the years. This new role is an opportunity for me to give back and serve the people of Buffalo and the surrounding area by bringing a community-minded credit union to financially empower the people within the area.”

BISON NETWORKING GROUP PRESENTS BUFFALO STRONG WITH CHECK

The local Bison Networking Group (made up of Chamber members) presented a check for $1125 to Buffalo Strong. The group had a booth at the Street Party of Hope where you could purchase chances to win some great baskets of goodies! Sadly - I've won 2 years in a row - but not this year. The check, however, was a big winner for the Buffalo Strong cause - thank you all!
