And when they had crucified him, they divided his garments among them by casting lots. Then they sat down and kept watch over him there. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him. If you become God's son or daughter, the whole vast universe will become yours. When you go to the spirit world, would you want to follow me around? You cannot do that now. Hello Richard,
Hyung Jin Nim started his sermon by wishing everyone “Happy Resurrection Day!” President Biden declared that this Easter Sunday is a “Transgender Day of Visibility.” Another way of looking at it is he is saying that we should worship a transgender deity, Baphomet, instead of Jesus Christ.
This is a day that honors Jesus who gave the world liberation, power and truth. For the entire world that loves God this is a day to remember God's victory after the tragedy of the crucifixion and the tyrannies of Pilate and of Herod, who sought to kill the messiah from his birth. The failure of the Jewish people of the time was because everyone was scared of powerful people. People were afraid of being labeled as a criminal.
Without courage and training, life becomes more difficult. The Roman soldiers were laughing as they tortured him. People knew he was innocent, but he was thought to be a troublemaker. All he did was love and serve the people, but he was surrounded by vipers and betrayed by his own best friends.

People today are afraid of being laughed at or mocked for their beliefs, but he was willing to be tortured, with thorns driven into his face. He was fully innocent, the image of God on earth.
Hyung Jin Nim recommends the spiritual discipline of contemplating this betrayal, a world that rejects the truth, and hates the one who is the bridge to God.
In life, in marriage, you make a series of promises to be the best version of yourself, but find yourself betrayed. Many times we are the cause of our own downfall. But in Christ that was not the case. He lived and walked in truth. He walked straight toward his attackers with courage.
If someone has an irrational fear, you help them to slowly, little by little, see that it is not dangerous. It’s like leading someone who fears going on escalators to put his tow and then his whole foot on the escalator. Step by step we can overcome neurotic fears.

Even though women tend to have fear and anxiety, when your children reach a certain age you have to let them go. The image of the Pieta showing Mary embracing the crucified Jesus is the story of all women. God tells parents to train your children, but to let them go. Life does everyone wrong. Self-centered people become bitter and vengeful, but Jesus shows us the way by his example of forgiving his torturers.
Jesus died at the hands of the Romans. True Father was clinically dead at the hands of his torturers. In the passage in Matt 27:35-44 we see how they mocked him. The mob chose to let the known criminal, Barabbas, go. The passers-by said “your prophecies were all wrong! You said you could tear down the temple, but you can’t even save yourself." We have a lot in common with those people, who were cowards, afraid of social disapproval.
Only the thief to the right on the cross had faith. The British monarchy said George Washington was bad. Now the establishment says Trump is bad. Are we willing to let our own concepts die, so that we can be filled with His spirit?
There is something worse than death, separation from God and from others. Jesus walked uphill to his own destruction with faith and courage.

Training helps you to push beyond your limits, to become braver. Fight another person and lose! Being utterly defeated and embarrassed is the beginning of the death of the old me and birth of the new me.
The samurai like the sakura (cherry blossoms) which have a short burst of beauty that quickly disappears. That is the story of our lives. It’s important to have eternal peace through a relationship with Christ, even if our lives are short.
Not peace through just believing, but peace through transcending. Christ had perfect courage. If we tap into his river of life, not our own dried up wells, we can tap into supernatural joy.
Church leaders mocked Hyung Jin Nim and Kook Jin Nim when they chose to follow Father’s will. It should be normal to walk away from billions in order to be loyal to your father, especially when he is Christ! It is because they loved Hak Ja Han, they told her the truth and warned her that Father would judge her if she went her own way. They tapped into True Father’s love.
Remaining faithful to Father cost many of you your friends and reputation. The remnant sought truth as their first priority. Let us continue to proclaim Jesus, True Father and Divine Principle.
Repentance brings new life. A nation that celebrates and honors the sacrifice of Christ becomes a stronger, more courageous, and more virtuous nation. Faith is a type of courage. Facing difficulties will make you the best version of you.

Theology
The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
God is the Creator of heaven and earth and is the Parent and Origin of all beings. God is Only One (Deuteronomy 6:4). As a being that includes both masculine and feminine characteristics, He stands in the masculine subject position toHis creation. Therefore, we call Him our Heavenly Father. God is the Lord of love and exists to multiply love throughout the universe (Genesis 1:1,1 John 3:1, Genesis 1:27, Matthew 6:9, John3:16).
Man is made in the image of God; therefore, human life, beginning at conception, is sacred. Adam and Eve were created by God to fulfill the Three Great Blessings, thus becoming the True Parents, the original King and Queen of humankind. This was to have been accomplished by Adam and Eve growing to maturity and establishing aGod-centered marriage – a marriage rooted in the absolute sexual fidelity between one man and one woman. Due to the Fall, which was the misuse of love,Adam and Eve lost their position as God’s true children. Instead, they fell under the dominion of the fallen archangel Lucifer, who came to be known as Satan.
Consequently, Adam and Eve transmitted original sin to their descendants (Genesis 1:26, Jeremiah 1:5, Genesis 1:28, Revelation 1:6, Genesis 2:24, Genesis 3:6-7, John 8:44, Romans 5:12, Galatians 4:3-7).
Jesus Christ is the sinless Son of God, the fulfillment of God’s promise to send the Messiah. He came as the Second Adam, and was the incarnate body of God on earth. His life of selflessness serves as a testament to His boundless love for God and mankind.Although He called on the chosen people to believe in Him, He was tragically rejected. Subsequently, He offered himself as a holy sacrifice for the sins of mankind by going the way of the cross. By believing in Jesus Christ and proclaiming His name, we are reborn through the Father, Son, and the HolySpirit. Jesus ascended to heaven’s glory and returns again to earth to reign asKing of Kings and Lord of Lords (Hebrews 4:15, John 1:34, Malachi 3:1, 1Corinthians 15:45, John 1:1-4, John 6:28-29, John 8:39-47, Hebrews 9:13-14,Romans 10:9-11, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:9-11, Titus 2:13, Revelation 17:14).
In 1920,Christ came again from the east (Matthew 24:27, Revelation 7:2) with a “new name” (Revelation 2:17, 3:12) in the person of Sun Myung Moon. He is the returning Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent, the fulfillment of God’s providence of restoration. Through undergoing incredible suffering, prayer and fasting,Father Moon experienced the grieving heart of God (Genesis 6:6) and came to understand truths previously hidden in the Bible. Despite being arrested, imprisoned, and tortured on multiple occasions for preaching the gospel, He embodied the same heart as Jesus Christ in loving and forgiving His enemies. He fulfilled the original ideal of creation by establishing the position of TrueParents. Before ascending into Heaven, he anointed the Second King, Hyung JinSean Moon, as his representative heir on earth (John 16:12-13, John 16:25, Luke18:8, Matthew 5:43-48, Genesis 1:28, Revelation 19:6-9, Jeremiah 33:15-26).
