Understanding BEDC’s Covid-19 Business Continuity & Sustainability Funding Programme
This Business Sustainability & Continuity Funding Programme is one of BEDC’s key business financing tools created in response to the significant impact of Covid-19 on Bermuda’s local small and medium-sized businesses. We have prepared an explanation video to help you better understand the requirements.
The BEDC Entrepreneurship 101 Course Finishes Strong!
The BEDC Entrepreneurship 101 course was the first of the BEDC multi-week courses to run virtually as a result of Covid-19. While it was a new undertaking for BEDC, everyone involved made the best of the situation. BEDC was eager facilitate the course and the students were still eager to learn.

To celebrate the completion of the course, BEDC put together goodie bags containing locally made treats provided by Ahmani's Cookie Company, Glam Pop, and Bermy Distributors. The bags were graciously delivered to all 42 students by Five Star Home Delivery for Free! We would like to extend a huge thank you to Tracy Pearman and her entire team at Five Star Home Delivery and to all of the local vendors involved. In these unprecedented times, it is great to see our small businesses continuing to provide such great service!

BEDC hopes to continue this practice with all of our upcoming virtual multi-week courses. Even though the format of the courses have changed, we still want our students to be excited about learning all that they can for their businesses to thrive.
Lunch & Learn Webinar:
BEDC Letter of Credit
& EEZ Duty Deferment
BEDC's William Spriggs & Ray Lambert led this webinar to inform attendees about two of BEDC's cost savings programmes, the BEDC Letter of Credit and the EEZ Duty Deferment programme.
