AMITA Health's Dr. Swoyer talks about the responsibility physicians have to serve others

Dr. Jennifer Swoyer of AMITA Health talks about the responsibility physicians have to serve patients and the community. She said the partnership AMITA has with BEDS and the new Summit Service Center is incredibly important.

"The better we do at keeping each other healthy, the better our community is," she said.

BEDS Emergency Services Coordinator Sue Dever talks about a day on the job in our Food Rescue program. It takes a dedicated team of donors, staff and volunteers to prepare meals for delivery to our clients. Our Food Rescue program saves more than 1,400 pounds of food per month that would otherwise be wasted. Learn more about our Food Rescue program here:

We pay tribute to former Vice President Walter Mondale, who recently passed away at age 93. Among other things, Mondale as a Senator was instrumental in the passage of The Fair Housing Act of 1968 to combat racial discrimination in housing. Mondale championed civil rights and fairness throughout his life. Learn more about his efforts to help pass the Fair Housing Act in this short video created by the National Fair Housing Alliance:
