DETOUR AT I-264 WEST EXIT TO WITCHDUCK RD BEGINS TONIGHT
Crews will be conducting utility line work in the vicinity
VIRGINIA BEACH –
The I-264 west exit to Witchduck Road will be detoured from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight and continuing through Thursday, June 14, if necessary.
The detours will allow utility work to proceed at the off-ramp in support of the I-64/I-264 Interchange Improvements Project, Phase II. They were originally scheduled to begin later this week but are happening sooner because earlier utility work was completed ahead of schedule.
The nightly detour will direct traffic to the next exit at Newtown Road, back onto I-264 east, and to the I-264 east exit to Witchduck Road. Click the following detour map to view it in higher resolution or view it at
