Established in 1924, the William F. Milton Fund supports research in the fields of medicine, history, geography, and science. Projects must promote the physical and material welfare and prosperity of people, or investigate and determine the significance of discovery or invention, or assist in discovery and perfecting of a special means of alleviating or curing human disease. Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education
The Shapiro Institute for Education and Research is looking for applications for a one-year Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education (with the fellowship period being July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024). The fellowship was created in 1998 to provide Harvard Medical School (HMS) faculty the chance to develop skills to start or advance medical education and/or academic leadership careers. The Herbert W. Nickens Faculty Fellowship recognizes an exceptional junior faculty member who demonstrates leadership potential in addressing medical education and health care inequity, who has demonstrated efforts in addressing education, health care, and societal needs of US racial and ethnic minorities, and is committed to an academic medicine career. The award is for a project performed in the US that supports racial and ethnic minorities.
