Low-Contact Israel Trip in 2022
Let’s try this again! It’s time to release our orientation video for the “low-contact” Israel trip, currently scheduled for March 20 – April 2, 2022. We’re feeling very optimistic that our trips will be ready to rock and roll next year. This video will introduce you to everything you’ll need to know about signing up for the trip, which will require a $500 deposit to save your seat. The final cost (estimated to be $5000, give or take) and details will be released with registration next month.

Please know this trip is specifically designed for those who are unable to partake in our “full-contact,” physically strenuous trip in August 2022. The low-contact trip involves much less hiking and is a little cooler, but it will also be a different experience. If you are able, you will want to wait for our full-contact trip registration to open in the fall. Our full-contact trip includes 7–12 miles of hiking and 1,800+ feet of elevation change each day in what can be at least 110-degree desert heat. It is not for the faint of heart — but it is an enriching and rewarding experience. (If you would like to see the “full-contact” orientation for the sake of comparison, please find that video here.)

GTI, our travel agency for the trips, will be handling registration and payment details. The orientation is almost an hour long, but it is designed to be informative and comprehensive; if you’re interested in going on the trip, we ask that you watch it in full to make an informed decision. We will be releasing information for our Turkey trip and our “full-contact” Israel trip in the months to come.
What’s Happening Around the Globe?
Noel’s Story
This is Noel.

Growing up in an independent fundamentalist Baptist church had shaped her view of the world and of God. Much of her life, she was afraid her Creator was simply waiting to strike her down for breaking the rules. Noel knew only the bleak nature of a God who had delivered judgment on His people for their sins and washed the world away for their iniquities.

Over the course of the last year, Noel has started grappling with a different story, a story where Noel was made “very good.” She began to see that God is excitedly waiting to see her flourish and celebrating her every accomplishment—not waiting for an excuse to punish her. She has discovered new facets of God, from His patient side to His comforting side, walking with her in failure and even in the mundane.

Today Noel is building up her relationship with God in a new way, and she looks forward to using these tools to set her children’s lives on a different path. She has a fresh opportunity to parent her children the way God patiently loves and trains her up in His ways.
