This is Josh.
After two trips to Jordan and the Middle East, he was spiritually broken and confused. He had encountered very different people than he expected. Being raised in a Christian home had not prepared him to meet the people and culture present there.
When his roommate Tyler introduced him to BEMA, it was a catalyst to get reconnected to a church community. BEMA began restructuring his understanding of who God is.
Josh was reminded God isn’t mad at him and that God is good and faithful from the beginning of the story. God was working with Josh, engaging his heart and changing his life. A year of meeting with BEMA Pullman led Josh to connect with the people he needed to turn a corner in his life.
Today Josh is an officer in the USAF, a husband to Kendahl, and a father to two beautiful girls, Sophia and Elliotte. As he works his way through the BEMA material, he has begun sharing these lessons with a friend he made at a library in Texas.
Josh and his local group, BEMA San Angelo, look forward to reuniting in the spring to learn more about who God is and to shape their lives around God’s mission.
