DUE DILIGENCE IS THE KEYWORD
|
|
June 2019 for sure was one of the busiest months of the year. I had the opportunity to be a featured speaker, participate on committees, and attend many immigration conferences around the globe, such as Geneva, Switzerland; Beirut, Lebanon; and Orlando, Florida.
I participated on the Investment Migration Council (IMC) advisory committee and taskforce at the Geneva Forum. I promoted the EB-5 program and real estate as a first step at the Beirut conference. Finally, in Orlando, I attended and spoke at the AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association), and GMS (Global Migration Section) which includes foreign based immigration lawyers, such as lawyers from Brazil.
The most important take away from attending these conferences and discussing the current global migration perspective with industry professionals from around the globe is,
DUE DILIGENCE
. That is, the essential need for
Due Diligence
on projects, and ensure they are financially viable.
Due Diligence
of the U.S. investor ensuring credibility and authenticity of personal source of funds.
The global migration residency by investment future depends on due diligence and will be discussed jointly with the IMC and IIUSA in their conference in Brussels next year, 2020.
Our law firm has an important role in making sure that global migration and migration to the U.S. continues to be a viable choice based on due diligence, transparency, and protection of the foreign nationals and their family.

Edward Beshara
