Edward Beshara won the Invest in the USA (IIUSA) 2019 Award for Economic Advancement "Innovator Award".
IIUSA is an organization that
represents the EB-5 industry.
The Innovator Award
recognizes a member's business that’s driving a new trend in the EB-5 industry, forging unique partnerships, creating innovative project ideas, and setting new trends within the industry.
The awards were announced at the EB-5 Industry Achievement Banquet on Sunday, May 5, 2019, in Washington D.C.

IIUSA EB-5 Advocacy Conference

Edward Beshara attended the IIUSA EB-5 Advocacy Conference in Washington D.C. Edward was a speaker on a panel titled "How to Market to and Find Investors Already in the U.S.: E-2 and EB-5 and Other Visa Backlog Solutions". Edward was joined by other industry leaders. The panel was an interactive questions and answers session.
While in Washington D.C., Edward visited the Brazilian, Australian and Lebanese Embassies to discuss ways to promote business with the respective countries and Orlando, Florida.

Edward Beshara sponsored and exhibited at the 2nd Annual Real Estate Expo organized by the British American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida on April 25, 2019 at the
Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive

The event was a great opportunity to learn from experts in the real estate industry on how to offer top customer service to foreign prospects, network with realtors, developers, accounting, property management, currency exchange, and title companies.
The event was very successful and more than 300 realtors and real state industry professional attended the event.

Advancing Residence and Citizenship by Investment, in Geneva from June 2 to 6, 2019.

AILA/GMS Annual Global Immigration Forum - June 17 & 18, 2019

Edward Beshara
will be attending and moderating a panel at the 2019 AILA GMS Annual Global Immigration Forum in Orlando on June 17 and 18, 2019.
The GMS panel is titled
"CITIZENSHIP AND RESIDENCY BY INVESTMENT: A GLOBAL COMPARISON"
which will focus on comparing the costs, timelines, requirements of these various programs, and address aspects of pre-immigration tax planning, currency exchange issues, and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act. Edward will be joined by top professionals from around the globe.
This conference will address the latest global residency by investment issues around the world. The conference will provide attendees with cutting-edge information and practical advice on managing clients’ global mobility needs in an environment of change.
Edward is an active member of the GMS by serving as a liaison on the conference committee.

Israeli Nationals Eligible for Treaty Investor Visas - April 25, 2019
USCIS has
announced
that beginning May 1, 2019 eligible Israeli nationals already in the United States in a lawful non-immigrant status can file Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, to request a change of status to E-2 classification, or a qualifying employer can file the petition on their behalf.
USCIS Strengthens Guidance for Spousal Petitions Involving Minors - April 13, 2019
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced
additional guidance (PDF, 222 KB)
regarding the adjudication of spousal petitions involving minors, following up on the agency’s February update to its policy.

that they completed random selection of 20,000 U.S. Master Cap cases on 04/11/2019. Service Centers have been emailing the notices to the employers for premium processing cases.
DHS, DOL to Publish Joint Rule for Additional Visas for Returning Foreign Workers - May 6, 2019
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Labor (DOL)
authorized
30,000 additional H-2B visas for temporary workers until the end of September 2019.
