Boy, the view from the top of the Register Democrats Summit 2024 was a good one!

We laughed along with Paula Poundstone and improv-master Matthew Moore and his troupe.

We reveled in the good news and upbeat prognostications of our illustrious panels Why and How We’ll Win!

We met some durn-fine candidates running in AZ, CA, MT, NV and TN!

We gave thanks for our 100 volunteer staff, our 20,000 volunteers nationwide, and our 200+ partner organizations, to our Summit presenting sponsor Civitech, and our Meet the Candidates panel sponsor Democrats Abroad.

We teared up at all of the work being done in our 2024 target states when we ran the moving Roll Call video.

We marveled at the brains on the AI panel.

Dozens made the Summit possible. Hundreds were moved to volunteer and donate.

We reached our audacious goal of raising $100,000 that day. With $3,000,000 to raise, we’re not at all done, but boy are we grateful for the best fundraising day in the organization’s history!

Thank you to all who participated in any way, from showing up to speaking, from signing up to chipping in. We continue to be in awe of this amazing group of activists who get s&*t done!

GOOD NEWS, MORE GOOD NEWS, AND EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS RE: EMAILS!

Good news: emails are an extremely effective method of registering Democrats and they're surprisingly cheap to send (just a half cent each!). More good news: our partner and data firm (and Summit 2024 presenting sponsor) Civitech has new email data on unregistered likely Democrats in our target states.

Even more good news! We’ve already raised the dollars needed for North Carolina and Montana email data and outreach, so we’re turning the spotlight next onto Michigan. We just need to raise $14,635 to buy 106,051 records with emails, and another $796 to email them twice.

Our 2022 Impact Report proves that emails really do work. In 2022, Field Team 6 reached out to 5 million unregistered, likely Democrats. Nearly one in three registered as blue or purple voters (Democrats, independent or unaffiliated (in the states that don’t report party)) and emails were boffo yields!

Just think. Half a cent. If one in three of these 106,000 Michiganders register to vote, we could add about 35,000 new blue or purple voters to the rolls before November! Donate to this worthy cause HERE.

The fate of the U.S. Senate hangs on a few battleground states, and one of them is Montana. That's because Democrat Jon Tester is trying to hang on to his Senate seat for a 4th term. He is now the state's only statewide-elected Democrat. Already an endangered species in Montana, Tester is sure to be a top target of the MAGA Maniacs. Last week we sent a whopping number of texts: 48,998, to be precise. That's a 25% increase from the prior week, and a 40% increase from a month ago. This means we’re averaging 7,000 texts per day.
