Lights on Afterschool

Annually, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Bend (BGCCB) participates in the ‘Lights On Afterschool' initiative. It's a nationwide event that celebrates afterschool programs and the importance they bring to the lives of children, families, and communities. Everyone had a Spooktacular time during the 2021 event thanks to our event sponsor CITGO and several community partners that contributed to making this event a fun-filled experience for youth in the Coastal Bend.

Gulf Coast Growth Ventures - Exxon Mobil

BGCCB is so grateful for Gulf Coast Growth Ventures - Exxon Mobil for putting in several hours of community service to beautify the Greenwood Unit. This makeover has really boosted the pride we have in our facility, organization, and our ability to offer outcome driven opportunities to youth in the Coastal Bend. Thank you for helping us be the place kids and teens want to be!

Ingleside Unit

BGCCB is thrilled to announce that we have officially expanded our services to the Ingleside ISD Primary School. This expansion currently allows us to serve nearly 50 additional youth in the Coastal Bend area. However, we are looking to increase those numbers throughout 2022. Stay tuned for membership updates coming your way.

Play Ball MLB with Scotts Lawn Care

Baseball, the all American pastime, is one of our youth's favorite sports to play. Thanks to a partnership with Play Ball MLB and Scotts Lawn Care, our baseball field recently received a very attractive makeover. BGCCB was one of four organizations nationwide to be chosen for this opportunity. We are extremely grateful to be able to provide our youth with a safe place to stay active, learn new skills, and improve their baseball technique.

Humana

Thank you Humana for creating such a magical moment and surprising nearly 100 youth with a Christmas party this holiday season. The smiles and joy on their faces will really warm your heart and give you an insight of what it's really all about.

Old Navy & Target

Thanks to Old Navy and Target, some of our BGCCB families were selected to be sponsored for Christmas. Participating youth submitted a Christmas wish list with items they needed and wanted. These sponsors did not go wrong in their delivery. Our youth were ecstatic!
