Marvin Teletherapy is positively impacting physicians’ lives and more at Baystate Health
Marvin Teletherapy for healthcare workers was introduced by the BMP Wellness Council before being adopted by Baystate Health system-wide for all employees in 2022. Marvin specifically responds to well-being needs expressed through the annual employee survey.
Total registrations since launch include 1,310 employees of which 68% are clinical employees. To date, 74% of employees engaged in Marvin demonstrated an improvement in their depression rating (PHQ-9); 79% of employees demonstrated an improvement in their anxiety rating (GAD-7).
Here’s the impact from just three months spanning from January to March 2024, which includes data from individuals and couples who engaged with Marvin:

- Average of 3.88 days from registration to intake appointment
- 97% reported high satisfaction
- 94% had 2+ visits

Marvin Teletherapy is confidential teletherapy with night and weekend appointments available. Visits are billed through your insurance (no-cost for BH-HNE plan members).
