Re-Enrollment at Brighter Horizons Academy

Continuous Enrollment

We are pleased to introduce a more streamlined and effective method of re-enrollment at BHA: continuous enrollment. As a current BHA family member, this process will provide an exceptionally simple way to stay enrolled at BHA; your students will seamlessly progress through grade levels without the annual speed bump of re-enrollment.

Virtual Learning Extended

Virtual Classes will be continued until next week (January 11th to the 15th)

Ahmed Bedri's Quran Journey!

BHA's very own Ahmed Bedri is in 7th grade and working on his Ijazah in memorizing the Qur'an. He completed 24 Ajzaa' already. Masha'Allah! May Allah (swt) maintain his hifth his heart and continue to bless him and his family. At his young age he is amazing Masha'Allah.

Student Opportunity

Registration Open for BHA Students: Lifelong Leaders Afterschool Club - CAIR-TX DFW

Registration is now open for BHA students to participate in the "Lifelong Leaders Afterschool Club". This is a year-long program that includes 4-electives in which our team will introduce students to CAIR essential skills such as:

Public Speaking
How to Influence Government
The Art of Debate
Islamic History and Identity Building

Future leaders who successfully complete this program receive letters of recommendations, can include this in their College resumes, are eligible for CAIR-TX leadership college scholarship of $1,000, learn important skills, and make new friends.

CAIR has just concluded our "Public Speaking" session and are holding the "How to Influence Government" portion. At the end of this session, future leaders will hold a group meeting with their State Representatives and State Senator.

Deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 8th 2021.

The first Zoom session is on Tuesday, Jan. 12th at 7PM

2nd session: Tuesday, Jan 19th at 7PM
3rd session: Tuesday, Jan 26th at 7PM
Capitol Day: Wednesday, Feb. 3rd (meetings throughout the day)

Message From BHA Health

Asalamu Alakum BHA Family. It has been an exciting and exhausting first semester. I thank each of you for welcoming me into the life of our school and entrusting me with the health maintenance of our community. I’ve enjoyed being an advocate and resource for the campus clinic and staff. I’ve compiled a very brief update of new information that will impact our COVID-19 management for the second semester.
