Bicycle Man Community Outreach
The Village Chapel

Join the Village Chapel in helping raise money for the Bicycle Man Community Outreach Projects. This  non-profit organization, based since 1990 in Fayetteville, NC ( ), the Bicycle Man has a vision of making a positive impact on the community by leading through example and demonstrating the Christian principles of charity and thrift.

Your tax-deductible donation helps provide The Bicycle Man with the purchase of helmets and bicycles that will be given away on Dec. 20th. An example of what your donation can help purchase; one helmet for $8, or a small child's bike for $65.
Checks are welcome and collected via the church's regular collection, by designating "Helmets" on the memo line, mailing a check to the Village Chapel at PO Box 3035, Bald Head Island, NC 28461, or placing your check in the Village Chapel donation box.
The Bicycle Man's goal is to provide more than 1,000 bikes and helmets each year to those less fortunate children in the weeks leading up to Christmas, reaching six surrounding counties. This is the first year Brunswick County children will be included in the annual giveaway efforts, of which eligibility for the bikes will be facilitated by county Department of Social Services offices. Donations will be accepted until November 30th, at which time the Village Chapel will donate all collected funds to the organization. Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause!
