Looking for Volunteers

BHA's Socialization, Education and Recreation Committee (SER), in conjunction with the Old Baldy Foundation, is looking for volunteers to assist in cataloguing documents relative to the history and development of Bald Head Island. Neither minimum time requirements nor recurring involvement is required.

This may be a perfect activity for residents interested in the history of the development of our island; for something to do on a rainy day; or for teens and young adults looking for community service hours on their resumes, etc.  The only requirement is that volunteers have a smart phone on which they can download a scanning application from the iTunes or Google Play stores.

Anyone interest in volunteering a few hours should contact Elizabeth Kinney at or Susan Terrio at  to schedule a time to receive a brief training session on how to catalogue.
