On June 17, 2022, the North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC) filed an order scheduling a hearing and establishing procedures for the matter of the Village of Bald Head Island and Bald Head Island Transportation, Inc./Bald Head Island Limited, LLC. The hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 10, 2022, at 2:00pm in Commission Hearing Room 2115, Dobbs Building, 430 North Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.
From the order: "The Presiding Commissioner concludes that, at this time, good cause exists to set the matter for hearing, establish deadlines for petitions to intervene and file testimony, and establish appropriate discovery rules. Pending motions will be addressed by further order of the Commission."
