Plan to join BHA virtually on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 9:00am for our Annual Meeting. It will be a live-streamed Zoom webinar, with the link posted on the Annual Meeting web page HERE. The recorded video will be available as soon as possible following the event on BHA's YouTube channel (click HERE).
There will be presentations by BHA, as well as Bald Head Island organizations such as the Village of BHI, the Old Baldy Foundation, the BHI Conservancy, the Village Chapel of BHI, BHI Limited and the BHI Club. Watch for additional details.

BHI Transportation Mask Requirement |
|
Bald Head Island Transportation continues to implement the US Coast Guard COVID operating guidelines and restrictions that require all passengers (except children under the age of 2) wear a mask:
1. While waiting to board the ferry inside the terminal gate area
2. While boarding the ferry
3. While inside the ferry cabin
4. While disembarking the ferry
5. While riding in trams
Additionally, all passengers are encouraged to practice social distancing whenever possible. Bald Head Island Transportation thanks everyone for their cooperation in ensuring that employees and customers remain healthy and safe. Click HERE to view the Coast Guard COVID operating guidelines.

Siren Testing

The outdoor warning sirens around the Brunswick Nuclear Plant will be tested by Duke Energy and county officials between 10:00am and 11:00am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. The test will last between five to 30 seconds. No public action is required. To read the full press release, click HERE.

Due to the increase in COVID cases and in the interest of safety, the January 2022 Community Dinner has been canceled. A determination for the February Community Dinner will be made depending on COVID cases closer to the date. Watch for future announcements. BHA Office Closed on Monday, January 17, 2022
The BHA office will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Monthly BHA Board Meetings |
BHA's Board of Directors invites property owners and others to view its monthly public meetings remotely via Zoom. Board meetings are typically held the second Friday of each month beginning at 11:00am EDT. Agendas, approved minutes of previous meetings and a link to the current monthly Zoom meeting can be found on the meeting information web page. Click on the link below to learn more.
