The National Hurricane Center is predicting impact to Bald Head Island and the surrounding areas from Hurricane Ian moving up the East Coast. The earliest arrival time of tropical-storm-force winds is listed as Thursday, September 29, after 8:00pm. Current rainfall potential is listed as 6-10 inches. BHA's Community Potluck Dinner scheduled for Saturday, October 1, has been canceled due to weather concerns from Hurricane Ian. The next scheduled dinner is Monday, November 14 at 6:00pm.

BHA's Architectural Review Committee (ARC) staff held an informational meeting with BHI contractors and architects to review the recently approved revisions in the 26th edition of BHA's Design Guidelines. By helping inform, our goal is to help reduce/eliminate the number of submittals that don't make it through the ARC process successfully. Therefore, ARC can help service providers save their clients — YOU, the property owner — valuable time and money.
