One of BHA's 2022 priorities is communications and transparency. As part of addressing this topic, BHA will hold a mid-year meeting to update members on this

year's priorities.

The meeting will be held in person at BHA's Association Center (111 Lighthouse Wynd) and online via Zoom. Stay tuned for additional information, including the meeting link. The meeting will be recorded and posted on BHA's website within 24 hours after the meeting.

On July 27, 2022, at 10:00am, Bald Head Association will hold an Informational Meeting at BHA's Association Center (111 Lighthouse Wynd). You can attend in person (there is space for about 75 members in person) or online. The meeting will also be recorded and posted on BHA's website within 24 hours after the meeting. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide all BHA members with the information they need to know regarding the future of the BHI Ferry and Transportation System.

Specifically, Chad Paul, CEO of Bald Head Island Limited; Peter Quinn, Mayor of the Village of Bald Head Island; Lee Roberts, the Managing Partner of SharpVue Capital; and Susan Rabon, Chair of the Bald Head Island Transportation Authority (BHITA) will each be present. Each will give a presentation, and each will be available for questions and answers from the Board and BHA members.

This will be your opportunity to learn all the facts you need to understand about this very important issue and get your questions answered. Please mark your calendars now and stay tuned for additional details.

Each BHA member property is entitled to one free copy of BHA's 2022 BHI Community Directory, with additional copies available to purchase. Pickup of free member copies is only at the BHA office (111 Lighthouse Wynd). Anyone can purchase directory copies at the BHA office, accompanied by check made payable to "Bald Head Association." BHA's office hours are 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, with holidays observed.

The Village of BHI will hold a special meeting to conduct a public hearing on and consider an ordinance to adopt a commercial development moratorium of 60 days or less.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Multipurpose Room at the Public Safety Complex (273 Edward Teach Extension). Members of the public can access live audio of the meeting via Zoom (click HERE for the meeting schedule web page with link).

The BHI Artisans are back in action with their Show & Sale on Saturday, July 2, from 10:00am-4:00pm at BHA's Association Center (111 Lighthouse Wynd). All items are handcrafted by the artisans and include wooden charcuterie boards, fish and shorebird carvings, jewelry, BHI photographs, decorative home accessories, quilts and much more.
