BHA Special Meeting

A Special Meeting of BHA's membership will be held via Zoom webinar on the process used to select the contractor to rebuild the Wildlife Overlook. It will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 10:00-11:00am.

As required by BHA's Bylaws, all members have been notified by mail of the Special Meeting.

BHA Looking for Summer Intern |
Bald Head Association (BHA) is looking for a part-time intern with stipend. Duties include:
- Organizing, scanning and saving blueprints and other Architectural Review Committee (ARC) documents for online archiving.
- Contacting service providers through email/phone and documenting revisions.
Skills needed:
- Prefer working knowledge of Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Outlook and Excel
- Computer savvy
- Fast learner
- Organized
- Detail-oriented
ARC duties will be performed at the Association Center. Remote work is possible for the provider list revision duties. Submit resumes to: info@BaldHeadAssociation.com
by April 19, 2021. Potential candidates will be interviewed via Zoom. All COVID safety protocols must be followed. BHA is an equal opportunity employer.

Board of Directors Information |
|
BHA's Nominating Committee is looking for individuals to help identify those willing to serve on the 2022 BHA Board of Directors. This entails a couple of meetings to discuss candidates, which can be done remotely. If you're interested in serving on the Nominating Committee, contact Tiffany Williams at the link below to participate.
Look for additional information in the April Island Report on how to self-nominate or help the Nominating Committee identify candidates for Board service.

Monthly BHA Board Meetings |
BHA's Board of Directors invites property owners and others to view its monthly public meetings remotely via Zoom Webinar. Board meetings are typically held the second Friday of each month beginning at 11:00am EDT. Agendas, approved minutes of previous meetings and a link to the current monthly Zoom webinar can be found on the meeting information web page.
The next meeting is on Friday, April 9th at 11:00am EDT. As of now, the meetings are strictly virtual with no public admittance into the building. Click on the link below to learn more.

With the State of North Carolina under Governor Cooper's Executive Order, many activities typically held on Bald Head Island have been canceled, postponed or modified. |

BHI Artisans Show & Sale

All items are created by BHI Artisan members and include wooden bird and mouse homes, mixed metal jewelry with semi-precious stones, trinket dishes, charcuterie boards, wine caddies, coasters and lots of BHI photography.
The NC safety protocol mandates for COVID will be followed including wearing a mask covering your nose and mouth, maintaining at least 6 feet from others not in your household and using hand sanitizer.

Yoga Classes
Yoga classes are now being held on the outside deck at BHA's Association Center on selected Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00-11:00am, by Island Retreat. BHA members receive a discount. For schedule information and to register online, click the button below.

BHA 2021 Annual Assessments |
|
BHA's 2021 Assessments are now past due. Any unpaid balance will be subject to a late fee and will accrue interest at 1.5% per month beginning March 15th. Contact Denise Eidal ( Denise@BaldHeadAssociation.com) to make sure your balance is paid in full or that arrangements are made in advance through qualifying quarterly payments. |
