Hon. Michelle Williams Court, Supervising Judge, Civil Division of LASC. Judge Court will receive the Ronald M. George Award for Judicial Excellence. Since her appointment to the bench in 2011, Judge Court has made a substantial impact on the judicial system and chairs LASC’s Technology Committee. She has led transformative technology changes, through the COVID pandemic, to make LASC more accessible to counsel and the public.
Genie Harrison, Genie Harrison Law Firm, APC will receive the Excellence in Advocacy Award. Genie is a top women’s rights lawyer handling sexual harassment, equal pay, and other employment cases. Genie has secured numerous landmark victories, including a $100 million settlement and major workplace reforms for the women of Riot Games. She is a cofounder of Resolve Law LA.
