OUR STORY 45 years ago today, our Founder, Fr. Paul Sheridan, officially started Boys Hope Girls Hope with its first residential home in St. Louis. Some might call it luck. He would call it providence. We call it HOPE! Today, we’re a Network of affiliates operating programs in major cities across the US, and in two countries in Latin America. We spend years with each of our 1,200 young people—from middle school through career launch—attuned to their individual needs, helping them to leverage their strengths, and reach their potential.
