Thank you for being a part of the
21st Annual Anniversary Shaken, Not Stirred Martini Party!

Because of YOU we met our match and exceeded our goal,
raising over $125,000!

Thank you for making such a difference. We are grateful to everyone who donated, raised their paddle, and participated in the silent auction. We also thank all of our sponsors - NONE of this is possible without you.
Apshara's Inspiring Story

Our guest speaker at the Martini Party was BHGHCO senior collegian Apshara. She currently attends the University of Denver and will graduate this May. Apshara shared her incredible experience of being born in a UN-established refugee camp and coming to America in hopes of a better future. She talked about her family’s sacrifice and her determination to be successful to honor her ancestors. Apshara earned her nursing license at 16, received a full ride scholarship at high school graduation, interned for politicians, studied abroad, and will graduate this Spring with her Bachelors in Molecular Biology, with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience. She plans to go to medical school.
Thank You 9News KUSA

Thank you to our Martini Party event media Partner, 9News KUSA and Anchor-Reporter Erica Lopez for being the MC that night. We appreciate both your support of our programs and your helping in making a difference for our kids.

Touring University of Colorado - Denver's Campus

Touring numerous colleges throughout Colorado is an important part of being a BHGHCO scholar. This ,month scholars visited University of Colorado Denver. The scholars get very excited for what is to come in their educational careers with each college visit. It's an exciting time and helps them make the right choice for themselves and what they see for their future.
Santa Clara University

BHGHCO collegians Jose and Michele are currently attending Santa Clara University. They had an opportunity to attend a SCU basketball game and meet SCU regents, marketing & communications people and the assistant athletic director at the Chalk and Talk. Thank you to former Board Chair and current Emeritus Board Member, Scott Cromie for your commitment to our scholars and your alma mater, SCU!
Always Learning, Always Growing

The BEYA STEM Community (over 10,000 strong) offers K-12 students, college students, corporate, government, military professionals, business, and industry employers three (3) days of learning, networking, celebrating excellence, and showcasing STEM career opportunities. It was a great opportunity and experience for our collegians!
