BHA Files Petition to Intervene in
NC Utilities Commission (NCUC) Docket A-41 Sub 23
BHA filed a Petition to Intervene in the NCUC Docket A-41 Sub 23 (Application for Approval of Revisions to Ferry Schedule) on May 6. This allows BHA access to all notices, pleadings, filings and/or other communications with respect to this docket.
With the exception of approximately 100 properties located on Middle Island, all residential property owners on the Island are members of the Association, regardless of whether they are registered to vote in Brunswick County. As an issue that affects BHA's membership, intervening ensures that BHA is part of the process to best help its members as the case goes forward. To read the petition, click HERE.

BHA Office Renovations
Continuing through May 10
~ Pardon our dust ~
We appreciate your patience!
BHA's offices have been undergoing some needed renovations, including painting and new carpet installation, continuing through Friday, May 10. During this time, staff will
be working either elsewhere on site or remotely. Depending on the location and timing
of contractor work areas, staff may not have direct access to their phones; however, staff will continue to retrieve voicemails, so please leave a message. For a staff directory, call the main office number at 910-457-4676.
BHA encourages members to use staff email addresses to best assist you. To email BHA staff, visit the web page HERE. Please remember that ARC is open by appointments only. Email Chris Howard for ARC assistance.
Note that during these office renovations, only BHA's offices are anticipated to be affected. Meetings and events previously scheduled to be held in the Association Center (such as yoga, Pilates, meetings, etc.) will continue as scheduled. BHA thanks you for your patience!

"Let's Connect!"
Help BHA help you by ensuring we have your correct and complete contact information
~ A recent example highlighting why this is so important ~
Here is one example of why BHA needs your correct and complete contact information, including email address and phone number. Recently, a resident reported water coming from their neighbor’s home when no one was at the house. This kindly neighbor correctly notified the Public Safety Department. Public Safety personnel were dispatched to the house and unfortunately discovered that the home did not have a Knox Box, so they were unable to access the home to assess the situation. Public Safety personnel then contacted BHA to see if the property owner had a “Key Holding” agreement, which was not the case. Fortunately, BHA had the correct email address and phone number for the property owners and was able to reach them. In this instance, the water leakage was due to a faulty hot water heater, and the situation has been resolved.
Does BHA have your correct and complete contact information?
Click the button below to email Diane Mesaris your complete contact information, including email address and phone number. Thank you!
What about privacy?
Bald Head Association takes seriously the safeguarding of its members’ personal information. BHA utilizes Enumerate Central, a cloud-based customer relationship management system built specifically for homeowner associations, to store members’ confidential contact information. BHA Board policy requires that personal information stored in Enumerate is not shared with anyone outside of the organization.
